# UAP Archives

## What this site is

UAP Archives (uap-files.org) is a public, searchable archive of every declassified UFO/UAP
document released by the US government. Every PDF is OCR-processed, every entity cross-linked,
and most documents have a narrated explainer video on YouTube (@UAP-archives — coverage
expanding to the full corpus).

## Corpus (2026-07-21)

- 188 declassified PDF documents (7798 pages, 675 extracted images)
- 103 government video/audio files (15 audio-only)
- 27 standalone images
- 49 agencies · 200 named persons · 130 locations
- Date range: 1940 – 2026

## License

All documents are US government works and are in the **public domain** under 17 U.S.C. § 105.
OCR text, summaries, wiki articles and metadata produced by UAP Archives are released under
[CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/).
